Cheesy English Breakfast – The Filipino Version by Joe’s Kitchens
Traditionally the English Breakfast is from the UK and Ireland and is widely spread around the world. Known and is served everywhere like Hotels, Beds and Breakfasts, Inns, and some restaurants.
I love the idea of having an English Breakfast at my table, especially with cheese. That is why I am looking for ways to satisfy my cravings with my version not owned but derived from some version. I called it my Cheesy English Breakfast- Filipino Version because all the ingredients I use are only what is available in the Philippines and in the town where I live.
Even though I am dependent on the availability of the Ingredients I can pull it together with the way I like to make my Cheesy English Breakfast – The Filipino Version is yummy, cheesy, and tasty as always expected. My family loves to eat it and even relatives enjoy it with coffee for breakfast.

My ingredients are canned mushrooms sliced into pieces, I use Libby’s Vienna for sausage and slice it in just the right thickness, 3 pieces of eggs, 3 tablespoons of grated cheese, 250 grams of pork and beans,1 small onion chopped, 3 cloves garlic minced, and a pinch of black ground pepper and salt.
And for garlic toasted bread, ingredients are any bread available, 7 cloves chopped garlic,1 tablespoon of chopped parsley, ¼ cup butter, and 2 teaspoons of sugar. You can add for preference if you want some leftovers for another garlic bread anytime soon. It’s best to have it whenever you need it.
How To Make Cheesy English Breakfast – The Filipino Version
I started it by sauteing the chopped garlic and onion with tablespoons of cooking oil on low heat until I smelled the aroma of the spices. Then add the sliced mushrooms, saute for 3 minutes then follow with the Vienna sausage. Add the pork and beans then the grated cheese. Stir to avoid burning. Sprinkle with ground black pepper and stir to flatten the dish. Make a sunny-side-up egg with 3 eggs, break it put it on top of the cooking dish to cook. Add a pinch of salt to the eggs and then close the pan with a lid and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve slightly hot to enjoy the cheesy and savory dish. This Chessy English Breakfast – The Filipino Version recipe is good with English breakfast tea.

Best to eat with toasted bread but I prefer eating it with the toasted garlic bread recipe I love to make too! When the fresh parsley and garlic are brought together with the bread to be toasted, it complements the dish I make. So, it’s like they’re inseparable when I cook my Cheesy English Breakfast – The Filipino version.
My toasted garlic bread is just 5 minutes to prepare then you are done. Combine chopped parsley, minced garlic, butter, and sugar. Brush each side of the bread with combined ingredients then toast it in a pan. Flip each side when the bread turns brown then you’re good to have your yummiest and most cheesy breakfast ever.
